Frequently asked questions
At The Path Wellness Coaching, I understand that embarking on a new journey, especially during midlife, can come with many questions and sometimes a little apprehension. It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion to support women through these significant transitions. I am here to provide clarity and support every step of the way.
What are the most common questions women ask you when they're thinking about midlife coaching? What worries do they have?
Many women wonder about the logistics: How long are your sessions and how often will we meet? They also ask, Why would we need to meet for more than a couple of weeks? A common question is, How is nurse coaching different than counseling? Most importantly, clients want to know, How will your coaching make a difference in my life? We're here to answer all these questions and more to ensure you feel confident and supported.
How long are your sessions and how often will we meet?
Our typical coaching sessions are one hour long, and the frequency of our meetings is tailored to your individual needs and goals. We'll discuss this in detail during our initial consultation to create a plan that works best for you.
How is nurse coaching different than counseling?
As a board-certified nurse coach, I bring a holistic perspective that integrates physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Unlike counseling, which often focuses on healing past traumas, nurse coaching is present and future-focused, empowering you to identify your strengths and achieve your desired health and wellness goals. We partner to create actionable steps for your midlife transition.
What kind of unique advice or insights do you share with your clients that really help them through midlife changes?
My unique insight comes from personal experience: I have been where you are. I navigated the physical and hormonal changes, mood swings, anxiety and panic attacks. I watched my kids leave for college at the same time I was increasing care for my aging parents, all while struggling to make sense of why I felt like an imposter in a profession I had spent 30 years in and wondering if it was too late to pivot. This lived experience and learned coping mechanisms, allows me to offer truly empathetic and practical guidance.
Why would we need to meet for more than a couple of weeks?
Midlife transitions and significant personal growth are rarely quick fixes. My coaching relationship is designed to provide sustained support, allowing you to gradually implement changes, develop new habits, and navigate challenges with confidence. Consistency and ongoing support lead to lasting transformation.
How will your coaching make a difference in my life?
With my coaching you will have the support to empower you to gain clarity, define your new vision, and create actionable steps to achieve your midlife goals. You'll develop skills for resilience, improve your well-being, and discover a renewed sense of purpose and joy, leading to a more fulfilling and authentic life. I utilize breathwork, non-traditional meditation techniques, and neurographic art methods to unlock your creativity, ease anxiety, and help you find the clarity you seek.
